ENTREPRENEUR SHIP GRAVEYARD: Real-Life Success-To-Failure Business and Startup Stories

You can learn more about entrepreneurship from one unsuccessful than a thousand successful stories. If Tolstoy were an entrepreneur, he would write that “successful startups are all alike; every unsuccessful startup is unsuccessful in its own way.”

I have lost count of how many entrepreneurs and startups hired me as a freelance content writer since 2011. I am sharing real-life stories of promising startups and successful entrepreneurs that failed miserably. Why?

If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, first you need to see how an unsuccessful one looks like. All stories are based on actual events. For obvious reasons and dramatic purposes, the names, locations, and events had to be changed.

Entrepreneurship isn’t a fairytale. Unrealistic from-zero-to-hero movies and books have done more harm than good to entrepreneurs.

Don’t feel bad if you recognize yourself in one of these stories. Don’t kid yourself that you are out of the woods just because you aren’t one of my stories’ characters. Above all, don’t think it can’t happen to you to take the wrong startup turn.

Don’t waste your time looking for the morals of my stories because you aren’t going to find any. I have one important message, though. Fight for your startup as if your life depends on it; because it does!
